Kristina Danella

Kristina Danella has spent the past five years with Breakthrough Basketball, traveling across the Northeast as a lead clinician. She was the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Glen Ridge High School, where she won a 2025 NJ State Sectional Championship and earned Essex County Coach of the Year and NJ Mid-Season Coach of the Year honors. Previously, she served as head varsity coach at Mount Olive and Sparta High Schools. Before entering high school coaching and teaching, Danella led collegiate programs at Keystone College, San Francisco State, Caldwell University, and Urbana University, compiling a 125–73 record over seven seasons. She was named 2020 CSAC Coach of the Year after leading Keystone to its first conference title and NCAA Tournament appearance. A Marist College graduate, Danella scored 1,000+ points and won three MAAC titles. She began at UMass, earning A-10 honors. A standout at Red Bank Catholic, she finished with 1,773 points and 1,156 rebounds.
